This local favorite is a must see. 3 swimming pools, 2 water slides, a hot tub, even a swim up tiki bar. Not to mention the splash pad and indoor theatre offered. This family friendly resort offers plenty of activities to keep the whole crew entertained. You can even hop on over to Cajun Fast Track to play some arcade games, or have some friendly competition playing mini golf or racing go karts.

3. Lafayette KOA Holiday: 1825 St Mary St, Scott, LA 70583

If you’re looking for something more low key with plenty of water activities, check out this campground. There’s a huge lake where you can fish, rent paddle boats and kayak. There’s easy access to the interstate as well if you wanted to head into the city.

4. Poches RV Park & Fish-N-Camp: 1080 Sawmill Hwy, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517

One of the larger rv parks in the area, this one sits on 93 acres & has 85 Full Hook Up Sites. There’s a total of 5 ponds so nearly all of the sites will have a water view. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is for you.

5. Bayou Wilderness RV Campground: 600 N Wilderness Trail, Carencro, LA 70520

Located right here in Carencro where our store is located. If you’re looking for a authentic Louisiana feel, this campground has its own swamp. Ponds, fishing, a swimming pool included. Many of the reviews left on this site mention how friendly the staff is and also owner planned events. Clean & quiet.
